So i got a few texts today, better than nothing
I’m actually too scared to text him now, which is silly but i can’t help how i am suppose
Nevermind, i’m still going to go out & get trolley-ed with Sinead this weekend
I nearly caved in last night & wanted to drink at the show rather than be barrier, kinda wish i had because although i was beside the group of people who consider themselves ‘Anti-Flags biggest fans in Glasgow’ they were the lamest bunch of fuckers ever D: barely moved an inch, what’s the point
I swear, last may i was nearly over that barrier because i was jumping so much & this time round i was just well, there.
Where’s people’s passion these days, you don’t go to a gig & fucking stand there like a wally, you give it your fucking all, i guess that’s why i left early last night, i didn’t feel the punk atmosphere that i was meant to
I was better off at home in my bed
Was nice to finally meet Chris#2 & Justin, would’ve met Pat too but when he appeared i felt kinda weird so i didn’t bother, always next time i guess. No Chris head though, he had to go home, his sister-in-law died. Can’t wait for Twin Atlantic, there’s something about their music that moves me in a way i’ve never been moved before. Another one of the few bands i give my all at their shows. Always seem to end up in tears at their shows, it’s just one of those things. Sinead was the one hit last time during crash land so i gave her a cuddle & we did our wee dance, which Sam noticed aha.
‘Nothing gets better than memories, when all you have is memories for friends’
love that line, always point to sinead lol
Seeing them at the overs gig was such a great night for us :]
Also, QMU apparently has some sort of after party planned, FTW!
This time i will behave & i won’t end up like last time. I honestly have no idea how that happend, he offered to buy me a drink then bam. Also, no feeling up some random girls mowhawk in the toilets either ‘can i touch it?’ ‘aye go ahead’ Hotel times with Sinead, i can see this becoming a regular thing, yayayay :]!Okay, time to watch house, then try knock myseld out with some Nytol.
Maybe text Keith, although i have no idea what i’ll say to him.
Nevermind.

I hate when people kind of do nothing at shows like that. I’ve gotten to the point now where I don’t care for barrier for punk shows at all unless it’s a place where I can bring my nice camera in. I’ve been making the most of the circle pits when I go to see Rancid or Dropkick Murphys or whoever else. I’ve always seen Anti-Flag in festival settings here, but the crowds always seemed really interactive and stoked on getting into the crowd and helping people up when they fell. I think that’s how most of the crowds here are for big punk bands that come through. It’s really odd to see those “biggest fans” for punk bands, incomparision with the more mainstream pop-punkish type bands.
